Villa Rosaria is a vacation home rental in Positano conveniently located within walking distance of local shops and restaurants. There are 10 steps from the street level to the lower entry floor and 30 steps from the street level to the upper floor of the villa.

Location

The villa rental is in Positano, about 15 minutes walking distance uphill from the main part of town. There is a bus stop a few steps from the entrance to the villa.

The 18th Century villa is the ancestral family home of an antiques dealer who has lovingly and carefully filled the house with many lovely pieces. The house is marked by several terraces, each beautifully planted with bougainvillea, lemon trees, roses and other plants. Villa Rosaria is furnished with antiques and wonderful works of art - a combination of old prints etchings and sketches plus some more contemporary landscapes. There are vaulted ceilings and tile floors throughout as is typical of the architecture of the region. It can be rented with the upstairs penthouse (Casa Gianna) to accommodate a total of 10-11 or with Bellina to accommodate a total of 14-15.

There are stunning views of the village of Positano and the cliffs and sea. Enjoy the extensive terraces with many places for relaxing and eating under pergolas. A lovely lower terrace runs the length of the house with three separate areas for dining and relaxing and enjoying the view. All bedrooms have air conditioning units and French doors opening directly to a shared terrace. There is a separate dining room, sitting room and living room, also with doors opening to the terrace which seats 8 comfortably at a traditional antique Tuscan table. There is a separate large studio/library with single sofa bed for one person. There is a fully equipped kitchen with 4 gas & 2 electric burners, oven, spare small fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and double sinks. Central heating makes this home suitable for off-season rental as well. Children over 12 years of age are welcome.

This vacation home sleeps 6-7 persons. There are 3 double bedrooms (each with twin beds which can be made up as king beds) and 3 full bathrooms, 1 with an enclosed shower stall, 1 with large tub and both a hand-held and wall-mounted shower and 1 with open shower. Please note that there are 10 steps from the street level to the lower entry floor and 30 steps from the street level to the upper floor of the villa.
