Villa d’Estate is a delightfully appointed villa perched over the sea in a privileged location in Arienzo, an enclave considered the chic side of Positano, which lies about a mile away. The setting is completely private and peaceful with breathtaking views across the bay of Positano and towards Punta Campanella.

Location

The villa is about a mile from Positano, with all its charm and delights, excellent restaurants, elegant shops, cafes and sandy beaches. From the main coast road, a winding staircase of 130 steps leads to a spectacular garden terrace with flowering potted plants, trees, statuary, and bronze wall sculptures. Furnished with a covered dining area with marble top iron dining tables and sun chairs, the terrace forms an outdoor dining room of its own where you will undoubtedly greet the morning and conclude the day while enjoying the sea views.

The public pebble beach at Arienzo (little used outside July and August) is a further 120 steps down from the villa itself, but for the less energetic a beautiful pool of 10 x 5 meters occupies the far corner of the terrace. There is a bathroom with shower in the pool area.

Villa on 2 levels
The interiors have been elegantly furnished and refined to a high standard with interesting objects d’art, antiques and bronze sculptures, providing a warm inviting ambiance which guests are sure to appreciate and enjoy. With central heating and log fireplaces, Villa d’Estate is suitable for occupation at any time of year.

Ground floor: Spacious double living and dining room, each with a fireplace and French doors opening onto the private terrace; excellent large kitchen, fully fitted with dishwasher, 2 electric ovens, 6 burners, barbecue grill, blender, juicer, second fridge/freezer; Study/library with 2 single beds and bathroom with bath tub and shower head. Also on the ground floor, off the terrace, there is an independent double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. From the interior of the villa, a flight of steps lead up to the bedrooms; at this level is a further entrance door, opening to the public staircase.

Upper floor: Two spacious double bedrooms each with queen size beds, fireplace, TV and telephones. Both rooms extend onto a panoramic terrace with breathtaking views. Also on this floor are two marble bathrooms, each with a tub and separate shower.

A housekeeper and cook care for the villa 5 days a week assuring the highest standards of housekeeping and cuisine. The gardener comes to tend the pool and plantings twice a week. The amenities include a BBQ, dishwasher, blender, juicer, oven, microwave, washing machine, air-conditioning (bedrooms only), satellite TV, telephone for incoming and outgoing calls, ADSL internet access, and central heating.

Please note that there are 130 steps from the coast road down a private staircase to reach the entrance of the villa.
